1. Reputation – Validation demonstrates to funders and key stakeholders that evidence is robust. Many funders recognise the Project Oracle Standards, and are actively incorporating the Standards into their work. Funders such as Esmee Fairbain, The Big Lottery Fund, the Greater London Authority (GLA), The Cabinet Office, MOPAC and many others have been involved in our work.
2. Supporting better evidence – YOH’s work is reviewed by Project Oracle’s youth evaluation experts, including researchers from Russell Group universities, and evidence experts working in local and national government. They provide feedback on how to improve evaluation work and offer advice for future evidence collection.
3. Joining the evidence community – Project Oracle actively promotes organisations who achieve validation. Part of a community of organisations, invited to specialist events with funders and training opportunities. Networking with other organisations seeking to generate high quality evidence and scale their programmes.
